Building Luxury Apartments in a PANDEMIC

Building Luxury Apartments in a PANDEMIC

Remarkably construction of luxury apartments in Northern California (notably Santa Clara County) is continuing despite the coronavirus pandemic and widespread claims by authorities and the media that the coronavirus has an unusually high mortality rate compared to typical viruses and bacteria that cause deaths usually classified as pneumonia and influenza.

Doomsday Virus? Coronavirus Cases NOT Boosting Weekly Death Numbers…YET

Doomsday Virus? Coronavirus cases are NOT boosting the weekly death numbers for pneumonia and influenza from the CDC and National Center for Health Statistics yet. This would be expected if the coronavirus is unusually deadly compared to other diseases that contribute to deaths categorized as pneumonia and influenza… YET! (Based on data through March 14, 2020)

Why Don’t Shelter in Place Orders Apply to Luxury Apartment Construction Projects?

In this video I ask why Shelter in Place Orders in Northern California don’t seem to apply to luxury apartment construction projects. Public health authorities issuing the orders seem to claim the coronavirus (COVID-19) is unusually deadly compared to typical viruses, flus, common colds etc., even raising or implying the spectre of a super-disease such as the Black Death in Europe in the 14th century. Nonetheless, they seem to be allowing continuing luxury apartment construction projects with many workers in densely populated residential neighborhoods with families and children — some of the most expensive and wealthy neighborhoods in the world.
